About Us
Torregano Utility Services is led by industry veteran Todd Torregano, who has over 25 years of experience in the utility sector. Todd is a Licensed Electrical Contractor with a diverse skillset that includes project management, supervision, electrical, plumbing, low voltage controls, telemetry, heavy equipment operation, blueprint review, contract negotiations, and problem-solving. He has extensive knowledge in water wells, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, and preventative maintenance for water distribution and gravity collection systems.
Throughout his career, Todd has held various key positions in renowned utility organizations. He served as an Electrical Maintenance Crew Leader at Southeastern Louisiana Water and Sewer from January 1999 to June 2004. In this role, he was responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, repair, and construction of 280 lift stations, 32 water wells, and 54 wastewater treatment plants, while overseeing six employees.
Later, Todd held positions as a Field Supervisor at Tammany Utilities, where he oversaw 46 field employees and six office/administrative employees, and as the Director of Field Operations at Southeastern Louisiana Water and Sewer, where he managed water well and wastewater treatment plant operations, project management, contract negotiations, and a team of 40 field employees and two administrative employees.
Todd has also excelled in creating preventative maintenance and routine maintenance programs, installing water mains, fire hydrants, gravity collection systems, and managing various specialized crews, such as water quality, fabrication, wastewater, electrical maintenance, and line repair. His vast experience in the utility sector ensures that Torregano Utility Services is well-equipped to deliver outstanding results for clients.
Todd holds certifications in wastewater treatment and wastewater collections, water production, treatment, and distribution, and is certified to test backflow prevention devices.
